This month we are running the second of two introductory taster events this one based at Cambo Estate on the 18th and 19th November.
The free, non-residential weekend is a great opportunity for young people who are interested in or have made a start establishing a creative based business to come along and find out about the support that the Our Bright Future programme through WoodWorks could offer them.
“WoodWorks has given me a real kick start to help me set up my own business running rural skills craft workshops. It gave me the confidence and support I needed to make my idea a reality.” Lotte, a recent WoodWorks participant.
It’s also an opportunity to learn about a new creative practice or further develop existing skills. At this taster event participants can work with a print maker, glass worker, wood carver or basket maker.
